Abstract
Menurut penelitian, perolehan hasil belajar di Indonesia memiliki pencapaian yang dibawah rata-rata dibandingkan negara lain dan hal ini sangat berkaitan erat dengan proses belajar yang terjadi oleh setiap individu terkhusus faktor internal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya peranan motivation sebagai mediasi antara self-efficacy dengan student’s performance. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survei yang bersifat kausal dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil perhitungan koefisien reliabilitas insturmen student’s performance sbesar 0.654, self-efficacy sebesar 0.894, dan motivation sebesar 0.894, yang berarti ketiga instrumen dapat dipercaya. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivation berpengaruh langsung terhadap student’s performance secara signifikan, self-efficacy berpengaruh langsung terhadap motivation secara signifikan, self-efficacy berpengaruh langsung terhadap student’s performance secara signifikan, dan self-efficacy berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap student’s performance melalui motivation secara signifikan. Sehingga motivation dapat dijadikan variabel mediasi antara self-efficacy dan student’s performance. Based on research, student learning outcomes in Indonessia have proven below the average compared to other countries and this is very dependent also related to the learning process that occurs by each individual especially internal factors. This research was conducted to determine the role of motivation as mediation between self-efficacy and student’s performance. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The method used is a survey method through causal studies and analyzed by path analysis. The result of reliability coefficient calculation of student’s performance instrument was 0.654, self-efficacy was 0.894, and motivation was 0.837, which indicates that the instruments can be trusted. The result showed that motivation had a direct effect on student’s performance significantly, self-efficacy had a direct effect on motivation significantly, self-efficacy had a direct effect on student’s performance significantly, and self-efficacy had an indirect effect on student’s performance through motivation significantly. So motivation can be used as a mediation variable between self-efficacy and student’s performance.
