Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empirik tentang pengaruh wawasan dunia otomotif terhadap minat berwirausaha di bidang otomotif. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa jurusan Teknik Mesin UNJ yang mengambil kosentrasi otomotif. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 50 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel ini dengan random sampling. Uji keberartian regresi diperoleh Fhitung = 62,63 dan Ftabel dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dengan dk = n – 2 adalah 4,04 , karena Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 62,63 > 4,04 maka dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa koefisien arah regresi adalah berarti. Uji kelinieran regresi diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 0,1 dan Ftabel dengan signifikan α = 0,05 dengan dk = (k – 2) ; (n – 2) sebesar 2,245. karena Fhitung < Ftabel yaitu 0,1 > 2,245 maka dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa koefisien arah regresi adalah linier. Koefisien korelasi dalam penelitian ini sebesar rxy = 0,75. Besarnya pengaruh antara variabel X dan variabel Y dilihat dari koefisien determinasi. Dalam penelitian ini, hasil uji koefisien determinasi yaitu sebesar 56,25%. Dari hasi tersebut diinterpretasikan bahwa variansi (Y) minat wirausaha Mahasiswa dapat ditentukan o eh (X) wawasan dunia otomotif sebesar 56,25 % melalui model regresi sederhana Y = 33,41 + 0,86X. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh positif antara wawasan dunia otomotif terhadap minat berwirausaha di bidang otomotif. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah agar pihak Jurusan Teknik Mesin khusunya ketua jurusan atau pihak yang terkait agar dapat lebih meningkatkan wawasan mahasiswa dalam dunia otomotif dengan mengadakan kegiatan-kegiatan tertentu yang dapat meningkatkan wawasannya. ********** This study aims to determine empirically the effect of insight about the automotive world interest in entrepreneurship in the automotive field. The method used in this study is the method quantitative descriptive correlational approach. The population in this study were all students majoring in Mechanical Engineering UNJ who take automotive concentrations. Samples taken by 50 students. This sampling technique with random sampling. Test the significance of regression of F = 62.63 and F table with significance level α = 0.05 with df = n - 2 is 4.04, because of F > F ie 62.63 > 4.04, it can be interpreted that the direction of the regression coefficient is means. Testing linearity of regression of F by 0.1 and F table with significant α = 0.05 with df = (k - 2); (n - 2) equal to 2.245. because of F < F table is 0.1 > 2.245, it can be interpreted that the regression coefficient is a linear direction. The correlation coefficient in this study was r = 0.75. The amount of influence between the variables X and Y views of the coefficient of determination. In this study, the results of testing the coefficient of determination is equal to 56.25%. From these results be interpreted that the variance (Y) student interest in entrepreneurship can be determined by (X) insight into the automotive world at 56.25% through a simple regression model Y = 33.41 + 0.86 X The conclusion of this research that there is positive between the interests of the automotive world insight into entrepreneurship in the automotive field. Suggestions in this study is that the Department of Mechanical Engineering department head or especially relevant parties in order to further improve the knowledge of students in the automotive world by conducting certain activities that can improve insights.
