Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Labschool Jakarta pada Juli 2018 dengan sampel acak sebanyak 15 siswa dengan evaluasi penelitian deskriftif kualitatif dengan mengunakan model Contenance Evaluation Model dengan tiga tahapan antecendent, transaction dan outcomes yang dikembangkan oleh Stake . Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA. Hasilnya adalah pembelajaran di laboratorium sangat membantu siswa memahami pelajaran dengan mudah dan menyenangkan dan sangat efektif. Efektivitas penggunaan perpustakaan pengunjung per hari mencapai 200 pengunjung dengan durasi kunjungan 1-2 jam. Sebelum ujian kunjungan siswa ke perpustakaan sangat sering. Interaksi guru dengan siswa meningkatkan efektifitas pembelajaran, guru sangat membantu dalam memahami pembelajaran di kelas, siswa merasa sangat puas terhadap nilai yang diperoleh dalam ujian. Secara keseluruhan baik kompetensi guru maupun sarana prasarana yang ada di laboratorium maupun di perpustakaan sangat memadai dalam membantu proses pembelajaran dan sebagian besar siswa merasa sudah sangat puas dengan kondisi sarana prasarana yang ada. Nilai rata-rata IPA di SMP Labschool pertahun selalu meningkat, dan sudah memenuhi kompetensi minimal dan memuaskan bagi siswa, hal ini tidak terlepas dari cara mengajar guru yang menarik dan penjelasannya yang detail dilengkapi dengan rangkuman catatan setiap materi pelajaran dan juga dukungan sarana prasarana sumber belajar yang cukup lengkap dan memadai baik di Laboratorium maupun di Perpustakaan, hal ini selaras dengan teori-teori sumber belajar. Kata kunci: evaluation, learning, science. ********* ABSTRACT This research was conducted at Labschool Junior High School Jakarta in July 2018, with a random sample of 15 students with a qualitative descriptive research evaluation, using the Countenance Evaluation Model with three stages of antecendent, transaction and outcomes developed by Stake. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of science learning. The result is that learning in the laboratory really helps students understand lessons easily and is fun and very effective. The effectiveness of using the visitor library everyday reaches 200 visitors with a visit duration of 1-2 hours. Before the exam students visit the library very often. Teacher interaction with students increases the effectiveness of learning, the teacher is very helpful in understanding learning in the classroom, students feel very satisfied with the scores obtained in the exam. Overall both the competence of teachers and infrastructure in the laboratory and in the library is very adequate in helping the learning process and most students feel very satisfied with the condition of existing infrastructure. The average value of students’ natural sciences in per year always increases, and has fulfilled the minimum competency and satisfying for students, this is inseparable from the way of teaching an interesting teacher and detailed explanation is equipped with a summary of notes of each subject matter and also support infrastructure learning resources which is quite complete and adequate both in the Laboratory and in the Library, this is in line with theories of learning resources.
