Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan metode pendidikan anak dalam buku The Secret of Enlighetening Parenting karya Okina Fitriani. Okina fitriani merupakan seorang ahli yang telah menerapkan dan mengajarkan berbagai strategi dalam mendidik anak tanpa kekerasan maupun kemarahan. Dalam bukunya The Secret of Enlighetening Parenting, Okina memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai prinsip-prinsip, metode dan teknik mendidik anak yang disarikan dari al-Qur’an, Hadis, Sirah yang dipadukan dengan Psikologi Perkembangan. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang menggunakan metode analisis isi (content analysis). Sumber data yang digunakan bersifat tekstual yang diambil dari berbagai literatur yang kemudian dipilah-pilih lalu dimasukkan ke dalam kategori primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan langkah observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam buku The Secret of Enightening Parenting karya Okina Fitriani terdapat lima metode mendidik anak yang dapat digunakan, diantanya adalah metode mendidik dengan keteladanan, metode mendidik dengan nasihat melalui komuikasi yang baik, metode mendidik perhatian dengan kasih sayang, metode mendidik adat kebiasaan menumbuhkan kemandirian serta metode mendidik dengan cerita dan semua metode mendidik anak yang dipaparkan memiliki relevansi dengan pendidikan Islam. This study aims to analyze and describe children's educational methods in the book The Secret of Enlightening Parenting by Okina Fitriani. Okina fitriani is an expert who has implemented and taught various strategies in educating children without violence or anger. In her book The Secret of Enlightening Parenting, Okina provides a comprehensive overview of the principles, methods and techniques of educating children extracted from the Qur'an, Hadith, Sirah combined with Developmental Psychology. The method used in this study is qualitative that uses cntent analysis. The data sources used are textual taken from various literature which are then sorted and then put into primary and secondary categories. Data collection techniques are done by observation and documentations. The results of this study indicate that in the book The Secret of Enightening Parenting by Okina Fitriani there are five methods of educating children that can be used, among them are the method of educating by example, the method of educating with advice through good communication, the method of educating attention with compassion, the method of educating the customs of growing independence and the method educating with stories and all the methods of educating children described have relevance to Islamic education.
