Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan historis toleransi antar umat beragama di Kelenteng Phan Kho Bio serta bentuk-bentuk toleransi antar umat beragama dalam seremonia keagamaan di kelenteng phan kho bio dan implementasi dalam perayaan seremonia keagamaan dengan studi kasus kelnteng Phan Kho Bio Kampung Pulo Geulis yang mayoritas beragama Islam namun sejak di resmikannya menjadi cagar budaya, kelenteng ini mampu menyesuaikan diri ke masyarakat sekitar supaya saling menghormati dan peduli. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan studi kasus (case study). Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai toleransi beragama di suatu Kelenteng Phan Kho Bio pada kasus masyarakat di kampung pulo geulis. Sumber data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Observasi dilakukan di Kelenteng Phan Kho Bio, Bogor, Jawa Barat pada bulan Februari tahun 2021. Teori yang digunakan menggunakan teori tentang konsep toleransi beragama dan juga teori seremonia keagamaan umat islam yang berada di kelenteng phan kho bio. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa toleransi antar umat beragama sudah melekat di diri masyarakat dengan adanya bukti-bukti konkrit, dilihat dari dahulunya kelenteng tersebut dijadikan tempat peristirahatan kerajaan pajajaran yang akhirnya terbukti dengan adanya makam dan petilasan dari ulama penyebar agama Islam dan juga anggota kerajaan. Serta bentuk-bentuk toleransi antar umat beragama dalam seremonia keagaaman di kelenteng phan kho bio sangat mendukung satu sama lain dengan cara saling membantu dan kerjasama baik umat islam dan juga non-muslim. *********** This study aims to describe the historical development of religious tolerance in Phan Kho Bio Temple as well as forms of tolerance between religious communities in religious ceremonies at the Phan Kho Bio Temple and implementation in the celebration of religious ceremonies with a case study of the Phan Kho Bio Temple in Pulo Geulis Village, which is predominantly Muslim but Since it was inaugurated as a cultural heritage, this temple has been able to adapt to the surrounding community so that they respect and care for each other This study uses a descriptive qualitative type of research using a case study. This study describes the values of religious tolerance in a Phan Kho Bio Temple in the case of the community in Pulo Geulis village. Sources of data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. Observations were made at the Phan Kho Bio Temple, Bogor, West Java in February 2021. The theory used uses the theory of the concept of religious tolerance and also the theory of religious ceremonies for Muslims who are in the phan kho bio temple. The results of this study indicate that inter-religious tolerance is inherent in the community with concrete evidence, seen from the past that the temple was used as a resting place for the kingdom of Pajajaran which was finally proven by the tombs and remains of clerics who spread Islam and also members of the kingdom. As well as forms of tolerance between religious communities in religious ceremonies at the phan kho bio temple, they really support each other by helping each other and collaborating with both Muslims and non-Muslims.
