Abstract

Akne vulgaris merupakan sebuah kelainan multifaktorial pada unit pilosebasea dengan tingkat keparahan terjadi pada saat usia 15-18 tahun dengan persentase 85-100% selama hidup. Pencegahan akne vulgaris sangat dibutuhkan guna meminimalkan terbentuknya akne vulgaris. Perilaku pencegahan dapat muncul dari sebuah persepsi. Persepsi ialah sebuah stimulus yang berasal dari luar dan diinterpretasikan untuk memberikan arti bagi lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi tentang akne vulgaris dengan perilaku pencegahannya pada siswa SMA. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMAN 36 Jakarta pada semester genap bulan Januari�Februari 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif dengan studi korelasional menggunakan regresi korelasi sederhana. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara persepsi tentang akne vulgaris dengan perilaku pencegahan akne vulgaris serta ditemukan sebesar 29,2% variabel persepsi tentang akne vulgaris memberikan kontribusi terhadap perilaku pencegahan akne vulgaris pada siswa SMA. Kata kunci: persepsi, perilaku pencegahan, akne vulgaris ********** Acne vulgaris is a multifactorial disorder in pilosebaceous units that with severity occurs at the age of 15-18 years with a percentage of 85-100% during life. Prevention of acne vulgaris is needed to minimize the formation of acne vulgaris. Preventive behavior can arise from perceptions. Perceptions is a stimulus that comes from the outside and is interpreted to give meaning to the environment. This study aims to determine the relationship between perception about acne vulgaris with its prevention behavior in high school students. This research was conducted at SMAN 36 Jakarta on the 2nd semester, in January-February 2021. The method of this research was descriptive method with correlational studies using simple correlation regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between perceptions about acne vulgaris with its prevention behavior also it was found that 29.2% of the variable perceptions about acne vulgaris contributed to acne vulgaris prevention behavior in high school students.
