Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan telaah lebih lanjut mengenai bagaimana penyajian konten untuk menggiatkan aktivitas literasi politik dalam kerangka pendekatan literasi politik melalui media sosial khususnya pada akun Instagram @generasimelekpolitik. Serta pemahaman literasi politik pengguna media sosial khususnya pengikut akun Instagram @generasimelekpolitik melalui penyajian konten maupun kegiatan yang diadakan oleh akun Instagram @generasimelekpolitik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain wawancara semi terstruktur dan penggunaan dokumen, proses wawancara melibatkan lima orang informan, dua orang key informan, dan satu orang expert opinion. Penelitian ini dimulai dari bulan April sampai dengan bulan Juli 2021. Hasil penelitian ini adalah akun Instagram @generasimelekpolitik telah menyajikan konten yang sesuai dengan tindakan dalam pendekatan literasi politik, yakni: informasi seputar politik; strategi pencarian informasi; gerakan mempublikasi informasi; dan mengevaluasi produk dari proses akhir politik. Penyajian informasi oleh akun Instagram @generasimelekpolitik bersifat aplikatif sehingga literasi politik pengikut akun Instagram @generasimelekpolitik dapat dipahami sebagai tindakan mengkolaborasikan elemen pengetahuan, efektivitas, dan sikap partisipatif untuk turut mengambil bagian dari sistem politik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah melalui pengintegrasian antara konten dengan kegiatan akan memberikan ruang pengaplikasian pengetahuan politik bagi pengguna Instagram. Kata Kunci: Literasi Politik, Konten Instagram, Pengetahuan Politik ********** The purpose of this study is to obtain further studies on how to present content to activate political literacy activities within the framework of a political literacy approach through social media, especially on the Instagram account @generasimelekpolitik. As well as understanding the political literacy of social media users, especially followers of the Instagram account @generationmelekpolitik through the presentation of content and activities held by the Instagram account @generasimelekpolitik. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological study approach. Data collection techniques used include semi-structured interviews and the use of documents, the interview process involves five informants, two key informants, and one expert opinion. This research starts from April to July 2021. The result of this research is that the Instagram account @generasimelekpolitik has presented content that is appropriate to actions in the political literacy approach, namely: information about politics; information search strategy; movement to publish information; and evaluate the product of the political end process. The presentation of information by the Instagram account @generasimelekpolitik is applicable so that the political literacy of followers of the Instagram account @generasimelekpolitik can be understood as an act of collaborating elements of knowledge, effectiveness, and participatory attitudes to take part in the political system. The conclusion of this research is that through the integration of content with activities, it will provide space for the application of political knowledge for Instagram users.
