Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di SMP PGRI Kracak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas 7, 8 dan 9 dengan jumlah 292 siswa dan sampel yang digunakan ialah 169 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 sehingga variabel X dan Y berkorelasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji t, diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 7,281 > t tabel 1,9745, dimana H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan komptensi pedagogik guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP PGRI Kracak. Sedangkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi didapatkan niai R sebesar 21,4% yang menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 24,1%. This study aims to determine the effect of teacher pedagogic competence on students' learning motivation in Social Studies subject at SMP PGRI Kracak. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population in this study were students in grades 7, 8 and 9 with a total of 292 students and the sample was 169 students. Based on the results of the correlation test, obtained a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, so that the variables X and Y are correlated. Based on the results of the t test, the calculated t value is 7.281 > t table 1.9745, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. These results indicate that there is a significant effect of teacher pedagogic competence on students' learning motivation in Social Studies subjects at SMP PGRI Kracak. While the results of the coefficient of determination test obtained a R value of 21.4% which indicates that the teacher's pedagogic competence affects students' learning motivation by 24.1%.
