Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis film Cek Toko Sebelah dalam menyampaikan sikap toleransi dan manfaat film bagi kehidupan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Data sekunder pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara terhadap informan yang sudah menonton film Cek Toko Sebelah, serta peneliti membaca buku dan jurnal yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis konten dan teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap toleransi disampaikan melalui berbagai cara, yaitu: 1) Percakapan antar tokoh yang berbeda agama dan etnis; 2) Melalui rasa empati yang diperlihatkan melalui tokoh; 3) Memberikan contoh tindakan menerima kehadiran etnis lain untuk hidup bersama dalam suatu keluarga; 4) Melalui hubungan pertemanan antar etnis; 5) Menghargai perbedaan; 6) Tidak membeda-bedakan dan memandang status sosial orang lain. Serta film Cek Toko Sebelah memiliki manfaat, yaitu: 1) Sebagai media untuk mempelajari sikap toleransi; 2) Untuk menyampaikan macam-macam sikap toleransi; 3) Memberikan contoh sikap toleransi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah melalui analisis film Cek Toko Sebelah diperoleh bermacam-macam sikap toleransi, yaitu: 1) Toleransi antar suku; 2) Toleransi sosial yang ditampilkan melalui adegan dan percakapan yang dilakukan oleh para tokoh. Serta manfaat film bagi masyarakat dapat dijadikan sebagai media untuk memahami pesan moral yang disampaikan, antara lain adalah sikap toleransi yang terdapat dalam film dapat memberikan contoh yang baik untuk diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata kunci: Sikap Toleransi, Analisis Isi, Film Cek Toko Sebelah. ABSTRACK This research aims to analyze the film Cek Toko Sebelah in conveying an attitude of tolerance and the benefits of the film for people's lives. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach to content analysis(content analysis).The secondary data in this study were obtained through interviews with informants who had watched the film Cek Toko Sebelah and read books and journals related to this research. The analysis technique in this study uses content analysis and data validity techniques using data triangulation. The results showed that tolerance was conveyed in various ways, namely: 1) Conversations between figures of different religions and ethnicities; 2) Through the sense of empathy shown through the characters; 3) Provide examples of accepting the presence of other ethnic groups to live together in a family; 4) Through inter-ethnic friendship; 5) Appreciate differences; 6) Do not discriminate and look at the social status of others. As well as the film Cek Toko Sebelah has benefits, namely: 1) As a medium for studying tolerance; 2) To convey various values of tolerance; 3) Provide examples of tolerance in everyday life. The conclusion of this study is that through the analysis of the film Cek Toko Sebelah, various attitudes of tolerance were obtained, namely: 1) Tolerance between tribes; 2) Social tolerance shown through scenes and conversations made by the characters. And the benefits of films for the community can be used as a medium to understand the moral message conveyed, among others, the tolerance attitude contained in the film can provide an example of a good attitude to be applied in everyday life.
