Abstract
Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk meneliti bagaimana metode pendidikan karakter pluralis yang diterapkan di SD Kharisma Bangsa selama masa pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menjelaskan kegiatan dan cara apa saja yang diterapkan oleh sekolah dalam menerapkan karakter pluralis kepada siswa yang diurai menjadi tiga sikap yaitu sikap mengakui dan menyadari keragaman, saling menghargai (toleransi), dan sikap saling bekerjasama (resiprokal). Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, kuesioner dan observasi serta dokumentasi. Teori utama yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori tentang karakter pluralis yang digambarkan melalui tiga sikap yaitu mengakui dan menyadari keragaman, saling menghargai (toleransi), dan saling bekerjasama (resiprokal). Teori yang digunakan selanjutnya yaitu teori menurut Syarbini yang menyatakan bahwa metode pendidikan karakter yang dapat digunakan sekolah ada tiga metode yaitu metode pembiasaan, metode ganjaran dan metode teladan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa SD Kharisma Bangsa melakukan beberapa cara dalam menerapkan karakter pluralis kepada siswanya yaitu pengadaan kegiatan di luar kegiatan pembelajaran berupa perayaan hari besar, keagamaan dan gathering, pengadaan ekstrakulikuler, integrasi dengan mata pelajaran, pengadaan mata pelajaran Social Emotional Learning, pemberian reward kepada siswa yang memiliki sikap baik, penerapan aturan pada saat pembelajaran jarak jauh dilaksanakan, dan teladan yang diberikan oleh guru melalui penguatan tidak langsung dengan metode kisah. The research objective was to examine how the pluralist character education methods were applied at SD Kharisma Bangsa during the remote learning period. This study describes the activities and methods applied by schools in applying pluralist characters to students which are broke down into three attitudes, namely the attitude of acknowledging and realizing diversity, mutual respect (tolerance), and an attitude of mutual cooperation (reciprocity). This research uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. The main theory used in this research is the theory of pluralist character which is described through three attitudes, namely recognizing and realizing diversity, mutual respect (tolerance), and mutual cooperation (reciprocity). The theory used next is the theory according to Syarbini which states that there are three methods of character education that can be used by schools, namely the habituation method, the reward method and the exemplary method. The results of the study concluded that SD Kharisma Bangsa took several ways to apply a pluralist character to its students, namely the provision of activities outside of learning activities in the form of holidays, religion and gatherings, extracurricular procurement, integration with subjects, procurement of Social Emotional Learning subjects, giving rewards to students who have good attitudes, the application of rules when distance learning is carried out, and the example provided by the teacher through indirect reinforcement with the story method.
