Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh job demands (tuntutan pekerjaan), job resources (sumber daya pekerjaan) dan work life balance (keseimbangan kehidupan kerja) terhadap work employee engagement (keterikatan kerja karyawan) pada industri garmen Penelitian ini mengkaji keterkaitan antar variabel penelitian, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung atau tidak langsung antar variabel eksogen dengan variabel endogen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif dengan metode survei, menggunakan pendekatan analisis jalur (Path analysis) yang menggunakan alat analisis SEM Amos, teknik pengambilan sample adalah probability sampling Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan divisi produksi industri garmen pada perusahaan di kawasan industri di Kawasan Berikat Nusantara Jakarta. Pengambilan sampel sebanyak 350 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara langsung job demands berpengaruh langsung negatif terhadap work employee engagement, job resources berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap terhadap work employee engagement , work life balance berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap work employee engagement. Job demands berpengaruh langsung negatif terhadap work life balance.job resources berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap work life balance, job demands berpengaruh langsung negatif terhadap job resource. Selanjutnya untuk terdapat hubungan tidak langsung antara job demands terhadap work employee engagement melalui job resource memiliki nilai negatif, antara job demands terhadap work employee engagement melalui work life balance yang memiliki nilai negatif serta ,job resource terhadap work employee engagement melalui work life balance memiliki nilai positif. Penelitian ini memiliki novelty berdasarkan obyek penelitian yaitu karyawan industri garmen divisi produksi, untuk variabel work life balance yang dikembangkan pada teori Job Demand Resources adalah hal terbaru, Sedangkan indikator yang digunakan merupakan indikator penyesuaian yang telah ada tetapi disesuaikan dengan obyek penelitian. Keterikatan kerja karyawan industri garmen dipengaruhi oleh variabel job demands, job resources dan work life balance. Sedangkan sesuai hasil penelitian work life balance merupakan variabel yang belum pernah diteliti yang memiliki pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap work employee engagement. ********** This study was to determine the effect of job demands, job resources and work life balance on work employee engagement in the garment industry. This study examines the relationship between research variables, and To determine the direct or indirect effect between exogenous variables and endogenous variables, using an associative quantitative approach with a survey method, using a path analysis approach that uses SEM Amos analysis tools, the sampling technique is probability sampling. The population of this study are employees of the production division. garment industry in companies in industrial estates in the Nusantara Bonded Zone, Jakarta. Sampling was 350 respondents. In this study, the results of this study indicate that job demands have a direct negative effect on work employee engagement, job resources have a direct positive effect on work employee engagement, and work life balance has a direct positive effect on work employee engagement. Job demands have a negative direct effect on work life balance. Job resource has a positive direct effect on work life balance, job demands have a negative direct effect on job resource. Meanwhile, the indirect effect of job demands on work employee engagement through job resources has a negative value, between job demands on work employee engagement through work life balance that has a negative value and job resource on work employee engagement through work life balance has a positive value. This research has novelty based on the research object, namely the garment industry employees of the production division, for the work life balance variable developed in the Job Demand Resources theory is the latest, while the indicators used are indicators of adjustment that already exist but are adjusted to the research object. Work engagement of garment industry employees is influenced by variable job demands, job resources and work life balance. Meanwhile, according to the research results, work life balance is a variable that has never been studied that has a direct and indirect effect on work employee engagement.
