Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kecemasan karir yang dialami siswa SMA kelas 11 dan 12 di Jakarta. Tema penelitian ini berfokus pada keadaan siswa yang mengalami kecemasan karir pada proses perkembangan karirnya di masa SMA, berdasarkan fakor penyebab pilihan pekerjaan dan hambatan keluarga. Sampel menggunakan teknik sampling Purposive berjumlah 4 orang. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan metode pendekatan studi kasus, multiple case study. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi terstruktur secara daring, observasi melalui aplikasi whatsaap dan zoom. Data juga didukung dengan adanya data wawancara dengan Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa siswa yang mengalami kecemasan karir memiliki perasaan khawatir, ragu, bingung, kecewa dan pesimis selama proses perkembangan karirnya. Mereka harus bertemu dengan permasalahan dengan kecenderungan posisi dalam sosial seperti pekerjaan orang tua dan harapan orang tua mengenai karirnya di masa depan. This research aims to find out the picture of career anxiety experienced by high school students in grades 11 and 12 in Jakarta. The theme of this study focuses on the state of students experiencing career anxiety in the process of career development in high school, based on the causes of job choices and family barriers. The sample using purposive sampling technique amounted to 4 people. This research is qualitative with the method of case study approach, multiple case study. Data collection through semi-structured interviews online, observation through whatsaap and zoom applications. The data is also supported by interview data with Guidance and Counseling Teachers. The results of this study concluded that students who experienced career anxiety had feelings of worry, doubt, confusion, disappointment and pessimism during the process of career development. They should be met with problems with social position tendencies such as parental work and parental expectations about their future careers.
