Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena sebagian besar 71% siswa kelas X IPA SMAN 36 Jakarta mengalami kesulitan dalam mempelajari mata pelajaran Biologi dan 47,2% siswa kesulitan dalam mempelajari topik tentang bakteri. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan komik digital sebagai media pembelajaran Biologi pada materi bakteri. Metode penelitian mengacu pada model penelitian dan pengembangan Borg dan Gall (2003). Pengumpulan data dengan penyebaran kuesioner analisis kebutuhan siswa dan wawancara dengan guru Biologi kelas X IPA. Pembuatan komik digital menggunakan aplikasi design Autodesk-SketchBook. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh validator ahli media dan ahli materi. Uji coba produk kelompok kecil terdiri dari 12 siswa, kelompok besar terdiri dari 46 siswa dan guru Biologi. Rata-rata hasil uji validasi diperoleh skor 91.69% dengan interpretasi sangat valid. Uji efektivitas produk menggunakan instrumen soal pre-test dan post-test yang terdiri dari 30 soal. Analisis data diperoleh skor rata-rata pre-test 70.33 dengan standar error 2.094. Skor rata-rata post-test 81.08 dengan standar error 1.432. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.00 < α = 0.05 dan nilai t-hitung < t-tabel yaitu sebesar -5.847<2.715, yang berarti perbedaan bermakna secara statistik atau signifikan pada probabilitas 0.05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran komik digital pada materi bakteri untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. *************** The background of this research is that most of the 71% of students of class X IPA SMAN 36 Jakarta have difficulties in studying Biology subjects and 47.2% of students have difficulties in learning topics about bacteria. The research aims to develop digital comics as a medium for learning Biology on bacteria. The research method refers to the research and development model of Borg and Gall (2003). Collecting data by distributing questionnaires to analyze student needs and interviews with Biology teachers in class X IPA. Making digital comics using the Autodesk-SketchBook design application. Product validation is carried out by media expert validators and material experts. The product trial consisted of a small group of 12 students, a large group consisting of 46 students, and a Biology teacher. The average validation test results obtained a score of 91.69% with a very valid interpretation. The product effectiveness test uses a pre-test and post-test instrument consisting of 30 questions. Analysis of the data obtained an average pre-test score of 70.33 with a standard error of 2.094. The average post-test score was 81.08 with a standard error of 1,432. The results of the t-test showed a significant value of 0.00 < = 0.05 and the value of t-count < t-table which was -5.847 <2.715, which means the difference is statistically significant or significant at a probability of 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using digital comic learning media on bacterial material to improve learning outcomes.
