Abstract

Percaya diri merupakan sikap positif yang dimiliki individu dalam melihat dan menilai dirinya sendiri. Kepercayaan diri seseorang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal yang salah satunya adalah kemampuannya dan faktor eksternal yang salah satunya berasal dari lingkungan. Penciptaan karya ini didasari oleh teori psikologi menjelaskan mengenai kepercayaan diri dan psikologi perkembangan remaja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penciptaan karya meliputi riset dan eksplorasi. Dalam hal ini, riset dilakukan dengan mencari pustaka, gambar dan informasi yang berkaitan dengan kepercayaan diri remaja perempuan dan standar kecantikan yang berlaku. Eksplorasi dilakukan dengan dengan membuat sketsa dan menggunakan berbagai macam media dan teknik. Penciptaan karya menggunakan interes bentuk figuratif, interes seni instrumentalistik, dan interes seni kontemporer. Karya ini dibuat sebagai media untuk menyampaikan pesan mengenai standar kecantikan yang mempengaruhi kepercayaan diri remaja perempuan dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup seseorang menjadi manusia yang lebih baik. ************ Self-confidence is a positive attitude that an individual has in seeing and assessing herself. A person's self-confidence is influenced by internal factors, one of which is her ability, and external factors, one of which comes from the environment. The creation of this work is based on psychological theory, which explaining about self-confidence and adolescent developmental psychology. The methods used in the creation of works include research and exploration. In this case, the research was conducted by searching for literature, pictures, and information related to the self-confidence of young girls and the prevailing beauty standards. Exploration is done by sketching and using a variety of media and techniques. The creation of works uses figurative forms of interest, instrumentalism art interests, and contemporary aesthetic interests. This work was created as a medium for conveying messages about beauty standards that affect the self-confidence of young women and aims to improve the quality of a person to become a better human being.
