Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan komponen fisik atlet membutuhkan sumber energi yang cukup yang diperoleh dari makanan, makanan atau gizi atlet harus memenuhi semua zat gizi yang dibutuhkan untuk mengganti zat-zat gizi yang berkurang akibat latihan fisik seorang atlet yaitu protein, karbohidrat, lemak, vitamin, mineral dan air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pola Konsumsi dan Tingkat Kecukupan Gizi pada atlet Muay Thai.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah bersifat deskriptif cross sectional study pada atlet Muay Thai KONI Kota Bekasi. Subjek penelitian adalah atlet Muay Thai sebanyak 14 subjek. Data seperti umur, tinggi badan, berat badan, tingkat pendidikan diperolah dari kuesioner. Asupan energi, protein, lemak, karbohidrat, serta vitamin diperoleh melalui metode Food recall.Hasil penelitian rerata IMT atlet Muay Thai adalah 20,41 kg/m² (normal),rerata protein 47,12 g karbohidrat 179,82 g dan lemak 25,54 g, Energi 1149,9 kkal, vitamin A 471,6 RE, Vitamin B 86,9 mg, vitamin C sebesar 1020 mg, Kalsium 323,4, Besi sebesar 7,5 mg d, dan tingkat kecukupan gizi saat bertanding 71 % memiliki kategori sangat kurang.Hasil penelitian menunjukan, (1) protein dalam kategori sangat kurang, karbohidrat dalam kategori sangat kurang dan lemak dalam kategori sangat kurang, (2) Rerata tingkat kebutuhan energi sangat kurang. (3) Rerata status gizi atlet Muay Thai KONI Kota Bekasi berdasarkan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) Ketegori Normal. This study aims to determine the Consumption Pattern and Nutritional Adequacy Level of energy needs during the games in Muay Thai athletes.The method used in this study is descriptive cross sectional study in Muay Thai ATHLETES KONI Bekasi City. The subjects of the study were Muay Thai athletes in 14 subjects. Data such as age, height, weight, level of education were based on questionnaires. Energy intake, protein, fat, carbohydrates, and vitamins are obtained through the Food recall method. The average BMI of Muay Thai athletes was 20.41 kg/m² (normal), protein average 47.12 g carbohydrates 179.82 g and fat 25.54 g, Energy 1149.9 kcal, vitamin A 471.6 RE, Vitamin B 86.9 mg, vitamin C of 1020 mg, Calcium 323.4, Iron of 7.5 mg d, and nutritional adequacy level when competing 71 % has a category of severely less. The results showed, (1) proteins in the category are very less, carbohydrates in the category are very less and fats in the category are very less, (2) The average level of energy adequacy at the time of competition is very less. (3) The average nutritional status of Muay Thai ATHLETES KONI Bekasi City based on Body Mass Index (BMI) Normal Category.
