Abstract

Pemenuhan kebutuhan yang melekat pada individu dengan individu lainnya belum tentu serupa atau bahkan dapat memiliki persamaan dan hal tersebut tidak serta-merta dapat disamaratakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh penggambaran mengenai pemenuhan kebutuhan tokoh-tokoh dalam novel Kereta Api Terakhir dari Paris karya Mira W. sebagai objek penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan teknik analisis isi dengan pendekatan struktural dan psikologi sastra. Teori yang digunakan adalah Abraham Maslow untuk menunjukan bentuk kebutuhan tokoh dalam novel Kereta Api Terakhir dari Paris. Teori ini berisi tingkatan kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi manusia, sebelum sampai tingkatan tertinggi yaitu aktualisasi diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kebutuhan terdapat pada tokoh dalam novel Kereta Api Terakhir dari Paris karya Mira W. kebutuhan yang paling dominan ditemukan adalah kebutuhan fisiologis dalam novel. Pada tokoh pendukung Arif memenuhi semua aspek kebutuhan menurut teori Maslow. Pada tokoh utama Aster dan Andika tidak semua aspek kebutuhan terpenuhi dlam novel Kereta Api Terakhir dari Paris karya Miraa W., adapun kebutuhan yang dapat terpenuhi oleh tokoh-tokoh tersebut yaitu kebutuhan: fisiologis, rasa aman, rasa cinta dan memiliki, dan rasa penghargaan. Kata kunci: Kereta Api Terakhir dari Paris, novel, pemenuhan kebutuhan, psikologi humanistik Abraham Maslow, ******** Fulfillment of the inherent needs of individuals with other individuals is not necessarily the same or can even have similarities, and this cannot necessarily be generalized. The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the fulfillment of the needs of the characters in Mira W.'s novel Kereta Api Terakhir dari Paris as the object of research. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with content analysis techniques with a structural approach and literacy psychology. The theory used is Abraham Maslow to show the shape of the character's needs in the novel The Last Train from Paris. This theory contains the level of needs that must be met by humans, before reaching the highest level, namely self-actualization. The results showed that the form of needs is found in the character in the novel Kereta Api Terakhir dari Paris by Mira W. The most dominant needs found are physiological needs in the novel. The supporting character Arif fulfills all aspects of needs according to Maslow's theory. In the main characters Aster and Andika, not all aspects of needs are met in Miraa W.'s novel The Last Train from Paris, while the needs that can be fulfilled by these characters are physiological, sense of security, sense of love and belonging, and appreciation.
