Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana organologi kacapi rincik buatan PSN Akustik Bambu ditinjau dari proses pembuatannya.. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif agar dapat memaparkan proses pembuatan kacapi rincik buatan PSN Akustik Bambu dan ciri khas Kacapi Rincik PSN Akustik Bambu dengan faktual, detail, dan akurat. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan pertama ada beberapa tahapan dalam proses pembuatan kacapi rincik buatan PSN Akustik Bambu yaitu tahapan persiapan yang bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan alat dan bahan yang dibutuhkan Kacapi Rincik, selanjutnya proses pembuatan yang terdiri dari pembuatan papan bambu, pembuatan wangkis, side, pongpok, bottom, aksesoris dan proses penggabungan bambu, kemudian finishing atau proses pengecatan, selanjutnya pemasangan aksesoris dan yang terakhir tahap fitting up yaitu tahapan pemeriksaan kualitas dan pendataan suara. Pembuatan Kacapi Rincik tidak menggunakan dempul dan paku untuk menggabungkan setiap sisi badan Kacapi Rincik. Bahan baku Kacapi Rincik buatan PSN Akustik. Bahan bambu yang digunakan adalah bambu betung yang berasal dari Indonesia. Kedua, Kacapi rincik buatan PSN Akustik Bambu memiliki ciri khas menambahkan struktur bracing yang tidak terdapat pada kacapi rincik tradisional lainnya. PSN Akustik Bambu juga menambahkan tuning machine untuk menggantikan baut atau pereut yang biasa digunakan untuk menyetem kacapi rincik. Kata Kunci : Organologi, Kacapi, Rincik, PSN, Akustik, Bambu. ********** ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to describe how the organology of the Kacapi Rincik made by PSN Acoustic Bamboo in terms of the manufacturing process. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach in order to describe the process of making Kacapi Rincik made by PSN Acoustic Bamboo and the characteristics of Kacapi Rincik at PSN Acoustic Bamboo in a factual, detailed, and accurate manner. The results showed that first there were several stages in the process of making Kacapi Rincik made by PSN Acoustic Bamboo, namely the preparation stage which aims to prepare the tools and materials needed for Kacapi Rincik, then the manufacturing process consisting of making bamboo boards, making wangkis, side, pongpok, bottom, accessories and the process of combining bamboo, then finishing or painting process, then installing accessories and finally fitting up stage, namely the stage of quality inspection and sound data collection. The manufacture of Kacapi Rincik does not use putty and nails to join each side of the Kacapi Rincik body. The raw material for Kacapi Rincik is made by PSN Acoustics. The bamboo material used is bamboo betung which comes from Indonesia. Second, the Kacapi Rincik made by PSN Acoustic Bamboo has the characteristic of adding a bracing structure that is not found in other traditional Kacapi Rincik. PSN Acoustic Bamboo also added a tuning machine to replace the bolts or bolts that are commonly used to tune the Kacapi Rincik. Keywords: Making, Kacapi, Rincik, PSN, Acoustic, Bamboo.
