Abstract

PENGARUH TAEKWONDO TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN ETIKA SISWA DI SMA NEGERI 4 KOTA TANGERANG ABSTRAK Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2021-Agustus 2021. Penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 4 kota Tangerang yang mengikuti olahraga taekwondo. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik yang digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling, total sampling adalah teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana motivasi dan etika siswa yang mengikuti olahraga taekwondo di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Tangerang. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner diberikan kepada 35 siswa yang mengikuti olahraga Taekwondo di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Tangerang, Uji coba dilakukan pada instrumen dengan tujuan menguji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen yang digunakan. Hasil akhir dari penelitian tentang motivasi dan etika dalam olahraga Taekwondo pada siswa adalah: respon pada aspek motivasi memiliki hasil rata-rata 83,3% dengan kategori “sangat tinggi" dan respon pada aspek etika memiliki hasil rata-rata 74,43% dengan kategori "tinggi". Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi guru dan pelatih untuk pentingnya mengetahui motivasi dan etika siswa didiknya, agar strategi yang digunakan dalam pembentukan mental tepat sasaran, sehingga dapat tercapai tujuan pembelajaran dan prestasi yang tinggi. Kata Kunci : Motivasi, Etika, Taekwondo THE EFFECT OF TAEKWONDO ON STUDENT'S MOTIVATION AND ETHICS IN SMA NEGERI 4 CITY OF TANGERANG ABSTRACT The research was conducted in April 2021-August 2021. The research used in this study was a descriptive research. The population in this study were all students of SMA Negeri 4 Tangerang city who participated in the sport of taekwondo. In this study, the technique used for sampling is total sampling, total sampling is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. This study aims to determine how the motivation and ethics of students who take part in taekwondo at SMA Negeri 4 Tangerang City. Data collection using a questionnaire was given to 30 students who participated in Taekwondo at SMA Negeri 4 Tangerang City. The test was carried out on the instrument with the aim of testing the validity and reliability of the instrument used. The final results of research on motivation and ethics in Taekwondo for students are: the response to the motivational aspect has an average result 83,3 % with the category "very high" and the response on the ethical aspect has an average result of 74,43% with the category "high". This research is expected to be useful for teachers and trainers for the importance of knowing the motivation and ethics of their students, so that the strategies used in mental formation are right on target, so that learning objectives and high achievement can be achieved.
