Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Noble Academy Jakarta, bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses rekrutmen dan pembinaan peserta didik berbakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari hingga Juli 2021. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan terdiri dari direktur, guru kelas, dan orang tua peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tahapan rekrutmen meliputi School Tour, pengisian formulir pendaftaran, pengembalian formulir lengkap dengan dokumen yang diperlukan, mengikuti tes tertulis, melakukan wawancara, mendapat surat penerimaan, kegiatan orientasi, hingga pelaksanaan Kelas Percobaan. Dilanjut proses seleksi yang terdiri dari seleksi akademik dan seleksi administratif. Lalu kegiatan penempatan dikelompokkan berdasarkan usia dan kelas peserta didik; (2) pembinaan dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan individual memberikan apresiasi dan pinalti, membuat perjanjian antara guru dan peserta didik, serta menggunakan sistem mentorship dengan guru kelas maupun guru khusus. This research was conducted at Noble Academy Jakarta, aiming to find out the process of recruitment and development of gifted students. This research was conducted from January to July 2021. Researchers used a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collection is conducted through observation, interview, and documentation studies. The informant consists of the director, the class teacher, and the parents of the students. The results showed that: (1) the stages of recruitment included the School Tour, filling in the registration form, returning the complete form with the required documents, taking a written test, conducting interviews, receiving acceptance letters, orientation activities, to the implementation of the Trial Class. Continued the selection process consisting of academic selection and administrative selection. Then placement activities are grouped based on the age and class of learners; (4) coaching is carried out using an individual approach, giving appreciation and penalties, making agreements between teachers and students, and using a mentorship system with classroom teachers and special teachers.
