Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar menulis teks prosedur dengan strategi inkuiri berbasis media Edmodo pada siswa SMP kelas VII. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development, yakni gabungan metode penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Model yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Uji coba skala kecil pada siswa SMP Kelas VII SMPN 216 Jakarta sejumlah 10 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa telah berhasil dikembangkan bahan ajar menulis teks prosedur dengan strategi inkuiri. Kemudian kualitas bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan adalah berkategori sangat layak/sangat baik berdasarkan rata-rata penilaian validator yaitu 88,4%, dengan masing-masing penilaian ahli media 88,6%, ahli materi 88,2%, dan guru Bahasa Indonesia 86,7%. Selain itu, penilaian respons siswa pada uji coba adalah sangat baik sebesar 92,9%. Bahan ajar menulis teks prosedur dengan strategi inkuiri ini memiliki implikasi dalam pembelajaran sebagai sumber ajar tambahan untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur. This study aims to develop teaching materials for writing procedural texts with an inquiry strategy based on Edmodo media for seventh grade junior high school students. This study uses the Research and Development method, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods. The model used is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Small-scale trials on 10 students of class VII SMPN 216 Jakarta. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that teaching materials for writing procedure texts had been successfully developed using an inquiry strategy. Then the quality of the teaching materials that have been developed is categorized as very feasible / very good based on the average validator assessment of 88.4%, with each assessment of media experts 88.6%, material experts 88.2%, and Indonesian language teachers. 86.7%. In addition, the assessment of student responses in the trial was very good at 92.9%. The teaching materials for writing procedural texts with this inquiry strategy have implications in learning as additional teaching resources to assist teachers and students in learning to write procedural texts.
