Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar elektronik menulis teks berita berbasis mobile learning dengan strategi pemetaan semantik pada siswa kelas VIII SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research & Development dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Output dari materi ajar elektronik ini adalah aplikasi belajar berbasis mobile learning yang diberi nama “Narasi” dengan enam menu utama, yaitu petunjuk penggunaan, kompetensi dasar, materi pembelajaran, latihan siswa, evaluasi, dan informasi pendukung. Uji coba kelompok kecil dilakukan di SMP Negeri 272 secara daring dengan melibatkan 10 orang siswa. Hasil validasi ahli materi terhadap produk mendapat persentase 94,55%, validasi ahli media 89,1%, penilaian guru Bahasa Indonesia 92%, dan respons siswa 91,8% dengan keseluruhan mendapatkan kriteria sangat baik. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa produk materi ajar elektronik menulis teks berita berbasis mobile learning dengan strategi pemetaan semantik pada siswa kelas VIII SMP layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: materi ajar elektronik, strategi pemetaan semantik, teks berita. *********** This research aims to develop electronic teaching materials writing news texts based on mobile learning with semantic mapping strategies in class VIII junior high school students. The research method used is Research Development with ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The output of this electronic teaching material is a mobile learning-based learning application named "Narasi" with six main menus, namely instructions for use, basic competencies, learning materials, student exercises, evaluation, and supporting information. A small group trial was conducted at SMP Negeri 272 online involving 10 students. The results of material expert validation on the product get a percentage of 94.55%, media expert validation 89.1%, Indonesian teacher assessment 92%, and student response 91.8% with overall getting very good criteria. Thus, it is concluded that the product of electronic teaching materials for writing news text based on mobile learning with semantic mapping strategies for class VIII junior high school students is suitable for use in the learning process.
