Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan berpikir kritis, memecahkan masalah secara efisien dan mengambil keputusan secara tepat sangat dibutuhkan bagi kualitas manusia di era ini. Kemampuan semacam itu, yang dikenal sebagai keterampilan cara berpikir, dapat dikembangkan dan dipraktikkan secara teratur, konsisten, dan terencana dengan baik seperti melalui kurikulum dan instruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model instrumen penilaian menulis yang dapat mendukung pengembangan cara berpikir mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Desain dan Pengembangan Langkah-langkah penelitian yang diusulkan oleh Gall & Borg 2003 digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan dengan menganalisis keterpaduan indikator cara berpikir pada instrumen penilaian menulis yang ada yang dikumpulkan dari tujuh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, menetapkan tujuan, merancang model instrumen penilaian, dan langkah terakhir adalah memvalidasi dan merevisi usulan penilaian. model instrumen. Analisis kebutuhan menemukan instrumen penilaian tulisan yang ada berupa tes dan non tes. Keterampilan cara-cara berpikir terintegrasi dalam berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, dan pengambilan keputusan. Dengan data tersebut model instrumen penilaian menulis yang diusulkan dirancang dalam bentuk tes dan non tes yang mengacu pada CEFR untuk mengakomodasi indikator keterampilan cara berpikir. Setelah divalidasi oleh reviewer internal, model tersebut akhirnya terintegrasi dengan Basic Writing, Professional Writing, Creative Writing, dan Academic Writing. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa desain instrumen penilaian keterampilan berpikir untuk mata pelajaran menulis harus dilakukan sejalan dengan Program Pengembangan Rencana Semester, karena cara berpikir harus diintegrasikan dalam model penilaian menulis. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Cara Berfikir,-penilaian terpadu, Model Penilaian Menulis, Penelitian Desain dan Pengembangan. ******** ABSTRACT The abilities to think critically, to solve problem efficiently and to make decision precisely are required human qualities in this era. Such abilities, which are known as ways of thinking skills, can be developed and practiced in regular, consistent and well planned ways such as via curriculum and instructions. This research was aimed at designing writing assessment instruments model that can support the development of ways thinking skills for undergraduate students of English Language Education Study Program. Design and Development Research steps proposed by Gall & Borg 2003 were employed in this study. Need analysis was conducted by analysing the integration of ways of thinking skills indicators in the existing writing assessment instruments collected from seven English Language Education Study Programs. Stating the objectives, designing the assessment instruments model, and the last steps are validating and revising the proposed assessment instruments model. The need analysis found the existing writing assessment instruments are in the form of test and non tests. The ways of thinking skills are integrated in critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision making. With this data the proposed writing assessment instrument models are design in the form of test and non tests that refer to CEFR in order to accommodate ways of thinking skills indicators. After being validated by internal reviewers, the model finally integrated to English Writing Skills; Basic Writing, Professional Writing, Creative Writing, and Academic Writing. This research concluded that designing ways of thinking skills assessment instruments for writing subjects should be done in line with the Program Semester Plan Development, since ways of thinking skills to be integrated in the writing assessment model.
