Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media iSpring Quizmaker 8 terhadap kemampuan menulis teks cerita pendek pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Tambun Bekasi. Kemampuan menulis terks cerita pendek dinilai berdasarkan beberapa aspek yaitu orientasi, komplikasi, evaluasi, resolusi, koda unsur pembangun, gaya penulisan dan penggunaan tanda baca dan ejaan berdasarkan pedoman umum ejaan Bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, untuk melihat ada atau tidaknya pengaruh pada kelas eksperimen yang mendapat perlakuan berupa media iSpring Quizmaker 8 dan pada kelas kontrol yang tidak mendapatkan perlakuan beruapa iSpring Quizmaker 8. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Tes Awal-Tes Akhir Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Hasil dari perhitungan dan menggunkan Uji-T, ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dan didapati hasil thitung (17,069) > ttabel (2,013), dengan demikian, hipotesis penelitian yang dilakukan menyatakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya ada pengaruh penggunaan media ISpring Quizmaker terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerita pendek pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Tambun Bekasi. Kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran iSpring Quizmaker 8 berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks cerita pendek pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Tambun Bekasi. ********** This study aims to determine the effect of iSpring Quizmaker 8 media on the ability to write short story texts in class IX students of Junior High School State 1 Tambun Bekasi. The ability to write short story texts is assessed based on several aspects, namely orientation, complications, evaluation, resolution, code of building elements, writing style and use of punctuation and spelling based on general Indonesian spelling guidelines. The research method used is the experimental method, to see whether or not there is an effect on the experimental class which is treated in the form of iSpring Quizmaker 8 media and in the control class which does not receive iSpring Quizmaker 8 treatment. The research design used was the Pretest-Tes Akhir Control Group Design. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and tests. The results of the calculations and using the T-test, it was found that there was an effect and the results found tcount (17,069) > ttable (2,013), thus, the research hypothesis stated that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there was an effect of using the iSpring Quizmaker 8 media on skills. writing short story texts for class IX students of Junior High School State 1 Tambun Bekasi. Conclusions that the use of iSpring Quizmaker 8 learning media has an effect on improving the ability to write short story texts in class IX students of Junior High School State 1 Tambun Bekasi.
