Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena kompetensi abad 21, untuk itu peserta didik diharapkan memiliki keterampilan Inventive Thinking (pemikiran inventif). Inventive thinking merupakan suatu aktivitas yang dapat membantu mengaplikasikan kemahiran berpikir secara kreatif dan kritis. Pemikiran jenis ini juga menjadikan seseorang dapat menyelesaikan masalah melalui aktivitas inovasi atau rekacipta. Pemikiran inventif terdiri dari beberapa aspek yaitu fleksibilitas, pengaturan diri, rasa ingin tahu, kreativitas, kemauan mengambil risiko dan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana cara berpikir inventif siswa SMAN kelas XI dalam pembelajaran seni budaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriftif dengan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri kelas XI. Penelitian ini menggunaan teknik penarikan sampel yaitu Proporsional Random Sampling dengan jumlah sampel 672 siswa SMA Negeri kelas XI yang berada di SMAN 1 Ciawigebang, SMAN 1 Luragung dan SMAN 1 Cidahu. Hasil yang diperoleh terhadap penelitian menunjukkan dari setiap aspek inventive thinking masuk pada kategori tinggi. Aspek fleksibelitas sebanyak 55,1%, aspek pengaturan diri sebanyak 50,6%, aspek keingintahuan sebanyak 48,4%, aspek kreativitas sebanyak 62,8%, aspek kemauan mengambil resiko sebanyak 48,2% dan aspek pemikiran tingkat tinggi sebanyak 55,4%. Persentase terbanyak dari data penelitian tingkat inventive thinking tersebut terletak pada aspek kreativitas, yaitu sebanyak 422 siswa (62,8%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat inventive thinking pada pembelajaran seni budaya untuk siswa SMAN kelas XI di Kabupaten Kuningan masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Adanya penelitian tentang inventive thinking ini dapat membantu peningkatan komitmen dan keberanian bagi guru untuk menjunjung dan menerapkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mengarah pada inventif thinking (pemikiran inventif). Kata Kunci: inventive thinking, Kompetensi Abad 21, Pembelajaran Seni Budaya ********** ABSTRACT This research is motivated because of the competence of the 21st century, for that learners are expected to have inventive thinking skills. Inventive thinking is an activity that can help apply thinking skills creatively and critically. This type of thinking also makes a person able to solve problems through innovation or design activities. Inventive thinking consists of several aspects namely flexibility, self-regulation, curiosity, creativity, willingness to take risks and high levels of thinking. This research aims to find out the extent of the inventive way of thinking of SMAN class XI students in cultural arts learning. The type of research used in this research is quantitatively derifrift with survey methods. The population in the study was grade XI State High School students. This study used a sample withdrawal technique, namely Proportional Random Sampling with a sample number of 672 state high school students in class XI who were at SMAN 1 Ciawigebang, SMAN 1 Luragung and SMAN 1 Cidahu. The results obtained by the study showed that every aspect of inventive thinking falls into the high category. Aspects of flexibility as much as 55.1%, aspects of self-regulation as much as 50.6%, aspects of curiosity as much as 48.4%, aspects of creativity as much as 62.8%, aspects of willingness to take risks as much as 48.2% and aspects of high-level thinking as much as 55.4%. The largest percentage of inventive thinking research data lies in the creativity aspect, which is as many as 422 students (62.8%). Thus it can be concluded that the level of inventive thinking on cultural arts learning for SMAN class XI students in Kuningan Regency falls into the high category. The existence of research on inventive thinking can help increase commitment and courage for teachers to uphold and implement the implementation of learning that leads to inventive thinking.
