Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan teknik ALBA terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik kesulitan belajar kelas V di MI Andalusia Qur’anic School Bogor. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seorang peserta didik kesulitan belajar membaca permulaan kelas V di MI Andalusia Quranic School Bogor. Penelitian menggunakan metode Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes membaca permulaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik ALBA berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik kesulitan belajar. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan hasil skor tes membaca permulaan setelah diberikan intervensi. Adapun hasil skor tes kemampuan membaca permulaan pada baseline 1 (A1), yaitu menyebutkan huruf 80%, membaca suku kata 20%, membaca kata 20% dan membaca kalimat sederhana 20%. Hasil skor tes membaca permulaan pada baseline 2 (A2), yaitu menyebutkan huruf 100%, membaca suku kata 100%, membaca kata 100% dan membaca kalimat sederhana 100%. Teknik ALBA menjadi salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik berkesulitan belajar. This study aims yo determine the affect of applying ALBA techniques on the word recognition ability of students with learning disability in class V at MI Andalusia Qur’anic School Bogor. The subject of this study is a student who has learning disability to word recognition of class V at MI Andalusia Qur’anic School Bogor. The study used the Single Subject Research (SSR) method wit the A-B-A design. Collecting data in this study using an word recognition verbal test. The result showed that application of the ALBA technique had an effect on the word recognition ability of students with learning disbaility. This is indicated by an increase in the results of the word recognition test after intervention was given. The results of the word recognition ability test scores at baseline 1 (A1), mention the alphabet 80%, reading syllables 20%, reading words 20% and reading simple sentences 20%. The results of the word recognition ability test scores at baseline 2 (A2), mention the alphabet 100%, reading syllables 100%, reading words 100% and reading simple sentences 100%. The ALBA technique is one way that can be used by teachers to improve word recognition ability of students with learning disabilitiy.
