Abstract

COVID-19 menyebar begitu cepat dan memakan banyak korban jiwa, menyebabkan pemerintah Indonesia menerapkan kebijakan pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB) untuk mengurangi aktivitas masyarakat, namun menyebabkan ekonomi perusahaan tidak stabil, sehingga banyak perusahaan yang melakukan pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK). PHK memberikan dampak bagi orang tua, dampak tersebut dapat dikurangi dengan adanya resiliensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran resiliensi pada orang tua yang terkena pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara terstruktur dan observasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga orang tua yang terkena PHK. Data penelitian yang didapat dilengkapi dengan data dari significant others pada setiap subjek. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap orang tua mengalami kesulitan yang berbeda dan diatasi dengan resiliensi. Pada subjek pertama, resiliensi dikuatkan dengan aspek optimism, causal analysis, emphaty, self efficacy, dan reaching out. Subjek kedua dikuatkan oleh aspek, yaitu emotion regulation, optimism, causal analysis, emphaty, self efficacy, dan reaching out. Subjek ketiga dikuatkan oleh aspek emotion regulation, impulse control, optimism, causal analysis, emphaty, self efficacy, dan reaching out. COVID-19 spreads so fast and takes many lives, causing the Indonesian government imposed large-scale social restrictions to reduce community activities, but cause the company's economy to be unstable, so that many companies terminate their employment. Work termination has an impact on parents, the impact can be reduced by resilience. This study aims to describe the resilience of parents affected by work termination during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection used is structured interview and observation. The subjects in this study were three parents who affected by work termination. Research data obtained is equipped with data from significant others on each subject. The results of this study indicate that each parent experiences different difficulties and is overcome with resilience. In the first subject, resilience is strengthened by aspects of optimism, causal analysis, emphaty, self efficacy, and reaching out. The second subject is strengthened by aspects, that is emotion regulation, optimism, causal analysis, emphaty, self efficacy, and reaching out. The third subject is strengthened by the aspect emotion regulation, impulse control, optimism, causal analysis, emphaty, self efficacy, and reaching out.
