Abstract

Wanita karier yang sudah berkeluarga dihadapkan dengan berbagai tuntutan baik dari sisi pekerjaan maupun keluarga. Kondisi tersebut dapat memicu work-family conflict, yakni konflik antar peran dari pekerjaan maupun keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap work-family conflict pada wanita karier berkeluarga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah Construction and Initial Validation of a Multidimensional Measure of Work-Family Conflict dan The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. Hasil pengujian statistik membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif dari dukungan sosial terhadap work-family conflict. Artinya, dukungan sosial dapat mengurangi tingkat work-family conflict pada wanita karier berkeluarga. Married career women faced with various demands either from work-related or family-related. This circumtance could be a trigger to a work-family conflict, which means an interrole conflict between work domain and family domain. This study aims to determine the impact of social support to work family conflict on married career women. This research used quantitative method with regression analysis technique. The measuring instrument used in this study is Construction and Initial Validation of a Multidimensional Measure of Work-Family Conflict and The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. The result of analysis statistics proved that there is a negative impact of social support to work-family conflict on married career woman. Which means, social support can reduce the level of work-family conflict on married career woman.
