Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri Wilayah II Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan metode survey dan analisis jalur diterapkan dalam hipotesis dan 78 sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Kepemimpinan Transformasional berpengaruh positif dan langsung terhadap kinerja. Artinya, peningkatan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah telah meningkatkan kinerja guru SMK Negeri Wilayah II Jakarta Timur yang signifikan, 2) Komunikasi Interpersonal berdampak positif dan langsung terhadap kinerja. Artinya, peningkatan komunikasi interpersonal telah menyebabkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada kinerja guru SMK Negeri Wilayah II Jakarta Timur, 3) Kepemimpinan Transformasional kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan langsung terhadap komunikasi interpersonal. Artinya, peningkatan kepemimpinan transformasional akan berdampak serius pada komunikasi interpersonal guru SMK Negeri Wilayah II Jakarta Timur. Oleh karena itu, dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMK Negeri Wilayah II Jakarta Timur, kepemimpinan transformasional dan komunikasi interpersonal dapat dilaksanakan dan ditingkatkan dengan lebih baik. Hal ini akan mempengaruhi perkembangan dan kemajuan pendidikan sekolah menengah kejuruan khususnya di bagian timur Jakarta. Kata Kunci: Kinerja Guru, Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Komunikasi Interpersonal The research objective was to determine the effect of transformational leadership and interpersonal communication on teachers’ performance. This research was conducted at the State Vocational High School, Region II East Jakarta. This study uses quantitative methods with survey methods and path analysis applied to the hypothesis and 78 samples were selected using random sampling. The results of this study are 1) Transformational leadership has a positive and direct effect on performance. This means that increased transformational leadership of school principals has led to a significant increase in the performance of SMK Region II East Jakarta teachers, 2) Interpersonal communication has a positive and direct impact on performance. This means that an increase in interpersonal communication has led to a significant increase in the performance of teachers at SMK Region II East Jakarta, 3) Transformational leadership has a positive and direct effect on interpersonal communication. This means that increased transformational leadership will have a serious impact on the interpersonal communication of teachers at SMK Region II East Jakarta. Therefore, in order to improve teacher performance in SMK Region II East Jakarta, transformational leadership and interpersonal communication can be better implemented and improved.
