Abstract

Menanamkan karakter kebangsaan sejak usia dini penting dilakukan untuk membangun identitas diri dan rasa bangga anak sebagai bagian dari NKRI, membentuk perilaku sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila, dan membangun kecintaan anak terhadap budayanya. Meski demikian, sebagian besar satuan PAUD belum memiliki perencanaan terprogram untuk menanamkan karakter kebangsaan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mendesain paket pembelajaran tokoh inspiratif sebagai sarana penanaman karakter kebangsaan, yaitu: integritas, nasionalisme dan gotong royong pada anak usia 4-6 tahun. Nilai integritas dikenalkan melalui tokoh inspiratif Eja, nasionalisme oleh Hata dan gotong royong oleh Sema. Produk berupa paket pembelajaran dikembangkan menggunakan desain ADDIE. Data penelitian diperoleh dari 6 orang pendidik di TK Methodist dan dua kelompok belajar, yaitu kelas A dan B yang diolah menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif Miles dan Huberman. Paket Pembelajaran Tokoh Inspiratif terdiri dari: materi pembelajaran, media pembelajaran berupa: buku cerita karakter, lagu karakter, video pembelajaran, asesmen serta aktivitas keterlibatan orang tua. Proses penanaman nilai karakter kebangsaan menggunakan paket pembelajaran tokoh inspiratif memiliki pola tahapan: 1) memberi gambaran nilai karakter yang akan dibahas; 2) mengenalkan tokoh inspiratifnya; 3) tukar pendapat relevansi contoh sikap hidup tokoh inspiratif dengan pengalaman anak; 4) menyimpulkan keteladanan sikap cerminan karakter kebangsaan dengan pertanyaan terbuka dan diskusi; 5) melakukan pengulangan dan penguatan kalimat inspiratif; 6) pengembangan aktivitas tindak lanjut; 7) memberi anak kesempatan menerapkan sikap karakter kebangsaan melalui tindakan nyata.*******Instilling national character from an early age is important to build self-identity and a sense of pride in children as part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, shape behavior in accordance with Pancasila values, and build children's love for their culture. However, most PAUD units do not yet have a programmed plan to instill national character in early childhood. The study was conducted to design a learning package for inspirational figures as a means of inculcating national character, namely: integrity, nationalism and mutual cooperation in children aged 4-6 years. The value of integrity was introduced through the inspirational figure Eja, nationalism by Hata and gotong royong by Sema. The product in the form of a learning package was developed using the ADDIE design. Research data obtained from participants as many as 6 educators at TK Methodist and A and B class which were processed using Miles and Huberman qualitative analysis techniques. The Inspirational Figure Learning Package consists of: learning materials, learning media in the form of: character story books, character songs, learning videos, assessments and parent involvement activities. The process of inculcating national character values using the inspirational figure learning package has a pattern of stages: 1) providing an overview of the character values to be discussed; 2) introduce their inspirational figures; 3) exchange of opinion on the relevance of examples of life attitudes of inspirational figures to the experiences of children; 4) conclude exemplary attitudes reflecting national character with open questions and discussions; 5) repeating and strengthening inspirational sentences; 6) development of follow-up activities; 7) giving children the opportunity to apply the attitude of national character through concrete actions.
