Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara kontrol diri dan cyber-aggression pada remaja akhir pengguna media sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dan sampel pada penelitian ini merupakan remaja akhir berusia 18-22 tahun yang merupakan pengguna aktif media sosial selama minimal 3 bulan (n = 466). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Adapun uji analisis pada penelitian ini adalah Pearson Product Moment dengan hasil F = -0,122 dan nilai p value = 0,008, yang artinya terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan namun lemah antara kontrol diri dan cyber-aggression pada remaja akhir pengguna media sosial.********The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-control and cyber-aggression in late adolescent social media users. The research method used is quantitative, and the sample in this study is late adolescents aged 18-22 years who are active users of social media for at least three months (n = 466). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The analysis test in this study is the Pearson Product Moment with the results of F = -0.122 and p-value = 0.008, which means that there is a significant but weak negative relationship between self-control and cyber-aggression in late adolescent social media user.
