Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan partisipasi dunia industri terhadap mutu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri Kota Serang. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif model analisis jalur (path analysis). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup dalam bentuk google form berdasarkan skala likert. Jumlah responden sebanyak 90 orang yang terdiri dari 83 guru dan 7 kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan: 1) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan langsung dan signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah menengah kejuruan negeri di Kota Serang, 2) Partisipasi dunia industri berdampak positif dan langsung terhadap mutu sekolah menengah kejuruan negeri di Kota Serang, 3) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan langsung terhadap partisipasi dunia industri. Oleh karena itu, dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu sekolah menengah kejuruan negeri di Kota Serang, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan partisipasi dunia industri dapat dilaksanakan dan ditingkatkan dengan lebih baik. Hal ini akan mempengaruhi perkembangan kompetensi dan keterampilan pendidikan menengah kejuruan khususnya di Kota Serang. This research has object to show there is an effect of the principal leadership and participation of the industrial through the quality of state vocationality high school in Serang city. The researcher used the approach of quantitative method analysis (path analysis). Collecting the data by using google form based on likert scale. Total response are 90 people, its divided to 83 teachers and 7 principals. The result of this method shows that 1) Principal leadership has positive effect directly through the quality of state vocationality high school in Serang city, 2) Participation of the industrial has positive effect directly through the quality of state vocationality high school in Serang city 3) The principle leadership has positive effect directly through industrial sector. Therefore, this research has the object to improve the quality of state vocationality high school in Serang city, the principle leadership the participation of industrial sector can be implemented and improved properly. This method gives the effect of the student’s competency and ability of the state vocationality high school especially in Serang city.
