Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan stres akademik pada mahasiswa tahun pertama selama pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik korelasi. Alat ukur yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah The Scales of Perceived Social Support (SPSS) dan The Perception of Academic Stress (PAS). Sampel pada penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa tahun pertama, berusia 18-22 tahun dan melaksanakan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Sampel berjumlah 400 mahasiswa yang diambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dan stres akademik dimana nilai r = -0.266 dengan taraf signifikansi 0.000 (p<0.05). Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara dukungan keluarga dan stres akademik. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi dukungan keluarga, maka semakin rendah stres akademik. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and academic stress on first year students during distance learning. This study uses quantitative approach with correlation techniques. The measuring instruments used by researcher is The Scales of Perceived Social Support (SPSS) and The Perception of Academic Stress (PAS). The sample of this study was first year students, aged 18-22 years old who carried out distance learning. The number of the samples is 400 students who were taken using purposive sampling method. The data was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation. The result showed a significant relationship between family support and academic stress where the value of r = -0.266 with significance level of 0,000 (p <0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant negative relationship between family support and academic stress on first year students during distance learning. It means the higher family support, the lower academic stress.
