Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara strategi koping terhadap stres akademik mahasiswa dalam menghadapi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh selama pandemi COVID-19. Strategi koping diukur dengan skala BriefCOPE yang dibagi menjadi dua jenis strategi koping yaitu problem-focused coping dan emotion-focused coping. Variabel stres akademik diukur dengan skala The Perception of Academic Stress Scale. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui survey google form. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Universitas Negeri Jakarta berusia 18 hingga 23 tahun. Hasil uji reliabilitas untuk alat ukur BriefCOPE sebesar 0.829 dan alat ukur The Perception of Academic Stress Scale sebesar 0.779. Hasil analisis regresi sederhana yang menggunakan SPSS 24.0 for windows, didapatkan nilai signifikansi (p-value) 0,001 < 0,05 untuk problem-focused coping dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 untuk emotion-focused coping. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi koping memiliki pengaruh yang negatif terhadap stres akademik mahasiswa dalam menghadapi Perkuliahan Jarak Jauh selama pandemi COVID-19 di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This study aims to determine the influence of coping strategies on students academic stress in dealing with distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Coping strategy variable is measured by BriefCOPE scale which is divided into two types of coping strategy namely problem-focused coping and emotion-focused coping. Academic stress variable are measured by The Perception of Academic Stress Scale. This research uses quantitative method through google form survey. Participants in this study were active students of Jakarta State of University aged 18 to 23 years. Reliability test result for BriefCOPE measuring instrument of 0.809 and The Perception of Academic Stress Scale measuring instrument of 0.799. The results of a simple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0 for windows, obtained Significance Value (p-value) 0.001 < 0.05 for problem-focused coping and Significance Value 0.000 for emotion-focused coping. From the data, it can be concluded that the coping strategy has a significant influence on students academic stress in dealing with Distance Lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic at Jakarta State of University.
