Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan ensiklopedia anak tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) berbasis kontekstual dalam Pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dan mengetahui kelayakan ensiklopedia yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menggunakan empat tahapan dari model 4D (Four D) Thiagarajan, yaitu: 1) define,2) design ,3) develop, dan 4) disseminate. Responden dalam pengembangan ini terdiri dari satu ahli media, satu ahli materi, dan satu ahli bahasa dan dikarenakan pandemic covid-19 uji coba pengguna hanya pada tahap one to one dengan 3 siswa kelas IV yang berada di sekitar rumah peneliti dan guru kelas IV SD. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan kuesioner. Hasil uji validasi pengembangan ensiklopedia anak tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) berbasis kontekstual kepada para ahli diperoleh rata-rata 86. 24% berdasarkan persentase ahli media 79%, ahli materi 82%, dan ahli bahasa 97,72%. Hasil uji coba penggunaan ensiklopedia oleh siswa 85% pada tahap one to one dan oleh guru 100%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan ensiklopedia anak tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) berbasis kontekstual termasuk ke dalam kategori “sangat baik” sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. This research and development aims to produce a contextual-based encyclopedia of family medicinal plants (TOGA) in science learning in grade IV Elementary School and determine the feasibility of the developed encyclopedia. The research method used in this research is research and development using four stages of Thiagarajan's 4D (Four D) model, namely: 1) define, 2) design, 3) develop, and 4) disseminate. Respondents in this development consisted of one media expert, one material expert, and one linguist and due to the covid-19 pandemic the user trial was only in the one to one stage with 3 fourth grade students around the researcher's house and the fourth grade elementary school teacher. Data collection techniques used are interviews and questionnaires. The results of the validation test for the development of a contextual-based encyclopedia of family medicinal plants(TOGA) to experts obtained an average of 86. 24% based on the percentage of media experts 79%, material experts 82%, and linguists 97.72%. The results of trials using the encyclopedia by students are 85% at the one to one stage and 100% by teachers. This shows that the contextual-based children's encyclopedia of family medicinal plants (TOGA) is included in the "very good" category so that it is suitable for use in science learning in Grade IV Elementary School
