Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kesiapan kerja siswa SMK laki-laki dan perempuan di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan skala psikologi sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kesiapan kerja adalah Work Readiness Scale (WRS) yang dikembangkan oleh Caballero. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 306 siswa SMK di DKI Jakarta diperoleh menggunakan teknik sampling accidental sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis komparatif dengan pendekatan statistika non-parametrik yang diukur menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil analisis menghasilkan nilai p 0,727 lebih besar dari nilai α 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kesiapan kerja siswa SMK di DKI Jakarta ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. *** This study aims to determine the differences in work readiness by gender of vocational high school students in Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method with a psychological scale as a data collection tool. The instrument used to measure work readiness is the Work Readiness Scale (WRS) developed by Caballero. A total sample of 306 vocational high school students in Jakarta was obtained using accidental sampling technique. The analytical technique used is comparative analysis with a non-parametric statistical approach which is measured using the Mann Whitney test. The results of the analysis resulted that p value 0.727 which was higher than α 0.05. This study found that no difference in the work readiness of vocational high school students in Jakarta based on gender.
