Abstract

Kondisi pandemi memaksa pekerja untuk melakukan tugas dari rumah. Salah satu ancaman terbesar dalam metode ini adalah menjaga keseimbangan antara peran sebagai pekerja dan peran sebagai individu. Layanan kesehatan mental berbasis internet belum banyak tersedia dalam menangani permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan intervensi digital dan mengetahui efektivitas intervensi tersebut dalam meningkatkan work-life balance para pekerja yang bekerja dengan sistem WFH (work from home). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif pre-experimental dengan desain penelitian berjenis within subject one group pre-test post-test. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adaptasi dari work-life balance scale yang sebelumnya sudah diadaptasi ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Subjek penelitian berusia 18-54 tahun (usia angkatan kerja) dan berada di wiliayah Jabodetabek. Subjek penelitian diberikan intervensi psikososial digital berbasis pesan melalui aplikasi WhatsApp selama 14 hari. Uji pre dan post-test dilakukan untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan teknik paired sample t-test yang menunjukkan nilai p = 0.086, artinya tidak terdapat efektivitas intervensi psikososial digital dalam meningkatkan work-life balance pekerja dalam masa WFH. Implikasi dan saran bagi pengembangan penelitian ini di masa depan disajikan dalam skripsi ini. The pandemic conditions are forcing workers to perform tasks from home. One of the biggest threats in this method is to maintain a balance between the role of the worker and the role of the individual. Internet-based mental health services are not widely available in dealing with these problems. This study aims to develop digital interventions and determine the effectiveness of these interventions in improving the work-life balance of workers who work with the WFH (work from home) system. The method used in this study is a quantitative pre-experimental research design with a type of within subject one group pre-test post-test. The instrument used in this study is an adaptation of the work-life balance scale which was previously adapted into Indonesian. The research subjects were 18-54 years old and located in the Jabodetabek area. Research subjects were given psychosocial intervention based on digital messages through the WhatsApp application for 14 days. Pre and post-test tests were conducted to test the hypothesis of using the paired sample t-test technique which showed a p value = 0.086, meaning that there was no effectiveness of digital psychosocial intervention in improving work-life balance of workers during WFH. Implications and suggestions for the development of this research in the future are presented in this thesis.
