Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work-life balance terhadap stres kerja pada karyawan Teknologi Informasi di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 201 subjek yang bekerja di bagian Teknologi Informasi di perusahaan di DKI Jakarta. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pada variabel work-life balance menggunakan adopsi Work Life Balance Scale (WLBS) milik Gwenith G. Fisher, Carrie A, Bulger and Carlla S. Smith (α = 0,863) dan variabel stres kerja diukur menggunakan adopsi Job Related Tension Index (JRTI) milik Kahn, Wolfe, Quinn, dan Snoek (α = 0,925). Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara work-life balance terhadap stres kerja karyawan Teknologi Informasi di Jakarta. Work-life balance memiliki pengaruh sebesar 39% terhadap stres kerja karyawan Teknologi Informasi di Jakarta. This study is conducted with aim of the impact of work-life balance towards work stress on Information Technology employees in Jakarta. This study uses quantitative method. Sample gathering method in this study use purposive sampling by spread questionnaire to 201 subject who work in Information Technology field in company in Jakarta. The measuring instrument on this study is the work-life balance variable using the adoption of Work Life Balance Scale (WLBS) belonging to Gwenith G. Fisher, Carrie A, Bulger and Carlla S. Smith (α = 0,863) and the work stress variable is measured using adoption of Job Related Tension Index (JRTI) belonging to Kahn, Wolfe, Quinn, and Snoek (α = 0,925). The result of regression test show that there is significant negative impact between work-life balance towards work stress for Information Technology employees in Jakarta. Work-life balance have impact of 39% towards work stress for Information Technology in Jakarta.
