Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media lift the flap book berbasis pendidikan karakter sebagai penunjang materi pada pembelajaran PPKn serta mengetahui validasi media lift the flap book berbasis pendidikan karakter, khususnya materi Hidup Rukun di kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Mengingat masih mewabahnya pandemi, maka sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II sekolah dasar yang bertempat tinggal di sekitar rumah sebanyak 9 orang. Jenis model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap pengembangan yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan penelitian; merancang produk dan menyusun instrumen; mengaktualisasikan produk dan validasi para ahli; melakukan uji coba; dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Di akhir penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa media lift the flap book berbasis pendidikan karakter untuk siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Hasil uji coba pengembangan media ini dilakukan oleh tiga ahli yaitu ahli media, materi, dan bahasa sehingga diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 89,17% dan masuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sedangkan hasil uji coba pada tahap one to one test dan small group mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 95%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan media lift the flap book berbasis pendidikan karakter sangat baik dalam pembelajaran PPKn di Sekolah Dasar. This research and development aims to produce lift the flap book media based on character education as material support for PPKn learning and to find out the validation of lift the flap book media based on character education, especially the material of Living Peacefully in grade II elementary school. Considering that the pandemic is still epidemic, the sample in this study was 9 students of grade II elementary school who live around at home. The type of model used in this study is the ADDIE development model which consists of five development stages, namely analyzing research needs; product design and instrument arrangement; actualizing the product and validation the experts; try out students; and evaluations. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. At the end, this research resulted in a product of lift the flap book media based on character education for grade II elementary school.The results of the media development trial were carried out on three experts, namely media, material, and language experts obtained an average value of 89,17% and the media was in the very good category, while the results of one to one test and small groups got an average value of 95%. This shows that the feasibility of the lift the flap book media based on character education is very good in PPKn learning at the elementary schools.
