Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Dalam pembuatan model mesin senai portabel, syarat memenuhi konsep portabilitas maka dirancang dengan bentuk yang sederhana, ringan, mudah dioperasikan serta multifungsi. Perancangan mesin senai ini bertujuan untuk membuat desain mesin senai portabel, menganalisis kekuatan komponen rangka dan poros penghubung, serta mengetahui perbandingan antara analisis software dengan perhitungan analitis. Pembuatan desain dari mesin senai serta proses analisis pada komponen rangka dilakukan dengan bantuan dari Software Autodesk Inventor. Hasil desain yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan secara hand operational dan static operational. Analisis terhadap komponen rangka dan poros penghubung mendapatkan hasil yang sudah optimal berdasarkan nilai safety factor dari kedua komponen yang lebih besar dari 2. *ABSTRACT* In making the model of a portable thread machine, the requirement to meet the concept of portability that is designed with a simple, lightweight, easy to operate and multifunctional form. The design of this thread machine aims to design a portable thred machine, analyze strength of the frame components and connecting shaft, find out the comparison between software analysis and analytical calculations. The design of thread machine and the analysis process on the frame components were carried out with the help of Autodesk Inventor Software. The results of the developed design can be used in hand operational and static operations. The analysis of the frame components and connecting axle obtains optimal results based on the safety factor value of the two components which is greater than 2.
