Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh need gratification dan kecenderungan perilaku narsistik terhadap intensitas penggunaan media sosial TikTok pada remaja selama masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian survei dengan skala psikologi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling menggunakan metode incidental dengan jumlah sampel 183 responden remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh need gratification dan kecenderungan perilaku narsistik terhadap intensitas penggunaan media sosial TikTok pada remaja selama pandemi covid-19 This study was conducted to determine the effect of need gratification and the tendency of narcissistic behavior on the intensity of TikTok social media use among adolescents during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is a type of quantitative research with a survey research method with a psychological scale. Sampling using non-probability sampling technique using the incidental method with a sample of 183 adolescent respondents. The results of the study show that there is an influence of need gratification and a tendency to narcissistic behavior on the intensity of TikTok social media use in adolescents during the covid-19 pandemic.
