Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ambivalent sexism memiliki pengaruh terhadap sikap masyarakat Jabodetabek berusia dewasa awal terhadap kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Metode penelitian adalah kuantitatif. Responden berjumlah 379 orang yang dikumpulkan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen Ambivalent Sexism Inventory dan Revised Attitudes toward Wife Abuse. Analisis dilakukan dengan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai F = 34,083; p (0,00) < α (0,05) yang berarti terdapat pengaruh dari ambivalent sexism terhadap sikap terhadap kekerasan dalam rumah tangga pada masyarakat Jabodetabek berusia dewasa awal. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing whether ambivalent sexism has an effect on attitudes towards domestic violence, specifically on people in their early adulthood and resides in Jabodetabek area. The quantitative research method was used. This study has 379 respondents who were collected through purposive sampling technique. This study also uses the Ambivalent Sexism Inventory (Glick & Fiske, 1996) and Revised Attitudes toward Wife Abuse (Yoshioka, et al. 2001). The analysis was carried out using simple linear regression test and results showed that the value of F = 34,083; p (0,00) < α (0,05) which means that there is an effect of ambivalent sexism on attitudes towards domestic violence in Jabodetabek resident in their early adulthood.
