Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between binge-watching behavior and loneliness in early adulthood during the Covid-19 pandemic. The measuring tools used to measure loneliness are the 6-Item De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale and the Binge-Watching Engagement and Symptoms Questionnaire (BWESQ) scale to measure the binge-watching variable. Statistical analysis used to test the hypothesis is the Pearson Product-Moment correlation test. The results showed that there was a relationship between binge-watching behavior and loneliness in early adulthood during the COVID-19 pandemic with a value of r = 0.430 and a significance of p = 0.000.
