Abstract
Menjadi ibu sebagai caregiver orang dengan skizofrenia tidaklah mudah, hal tersebut dikarenakan peran tersebut dapat menjadi penyebab distres psikologis pada caregiver seperti depresi, kecemasan, dan stres terutama di masa pandemik Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat depresi, kecemasan, dan stres pada ibu sebagai caregiver orang dengan skizofrenia di masa pandemik Covid-19. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis deskriptif, dengan menggunakan alat ukur Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS). Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan Incidental sampling, pada ibu sebagai caregiver orang dengan skizofrenia. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa lebih banyak caregiver cenderung mengalami kategori tingkat depresi normal sejumlah 45 responden (36.9%), kecemasan sangat berat sejumlah 40 responden (32.8%), dan stres berat sejumlah 33 responden (27.0%). Tingkat depresi normal sejumlah 45 responden (36.9%), ringan 8 responden (6.6%), sedang 24 responden (19.7%), berat 24 responden (19.7%), dan sangat berat 21 responden (17.2%). Tingkat kecemasan normal 32 responden (26.2%), ringan 5 responden (4.1%), sedang 27 responden (22.1%), berat 18 responden (14.8%), dan sangat berat 40 responden (32.8%). Tingkat stres normal sejumlah 31 responden (25.4%), ringan 16 responden (13.1%), sedang 20 responden (16.4%), berat 33 responden (27.0%), dan sangat berat 22 responden (18.0%). Being a caregiver for patient of schizophrenia is not easy, because role as caregiver can experience to psychological distress such as depression, anxiety, and stress, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study aims to describe the level of depression, anxiety, and stress in mothers as caregivers for patient schizophrenia during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is quantitative method with descriptive type, used the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) instrument. The sampling technique used Incidental sampling, was 122 mothers as caregivers of patients schizophrenia. The results of this study showed more caregivers tended to experience normal levels of depression was 45 respondents (36.9%), extremely severe anxiety was 40 respondents (32.8%), and severe stress was 33 respondents (27.0%). The depression in normal levels was 45 respondents (36.9%), mild 8 respondents (6.6%), moderate 24 respondents (19.7%), severe 24 respondents (19.7%), and extremely severe 21 respondents (17.2%). The anxiety in normal level was 32 respondents (26.2%), mild 5 respondents (4.1%), moderate 27 respondents (22.1%), severe 18 respondents (14.8%), and extremely severe 40 respondents (32.8%). The stress normal level was 31 respondents (25.4%), mild 16 respondents (13.1%), moderate 20 respondents (16.4%), 33 respondents was severe (27.0%), and extremely severe was 22 respondents (18.0%).
