Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari dukungan interpersonal terhadap rasa kesepian pada mahasiswa baru selama menjalani kelas daring. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan n = 328. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling. Instrumen yang dipakai dalam penelitian ialah UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 dan Interpersonal Support Evaluation List-16. Hasil uji analisis regresi sederhana ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai sig. < 0,05 dan konstribusi total sebesar 54%. Terdapat implikasi dalam penelitian bahwa pemberian dukungan interpersonal yang dirasakan konsisten oleh individu, terbukti membantu menurunkan tingkat rasa kesepian pada mahasiswa baru selama menjalani kelas daring. The purpose of this study aims to know the effect of interpersonal support on loneliness in college freshmen during online classes. The research method used is quantitative with N = 328. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. This research used UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 and Interpersonal Support Evaluation List-16 as instruments. The result from simple regression analysis found that there is a significant effect with sig. < 0,05 and the total amount contribution of 54%. There is implication to this research that by giving interpersonal support which was perceived consistently by individuals, proved on helping to decrease the level of loneliness in college freshmen during online classes.
