Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 merupakan pandemi global yang diumumkan oleh world health organization (WHO). Banyak kerugian yang ditimbulkan akibat pandemi ini, salah satunya yaitu adanya pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK). Korban yang terkena dampak PHK mengalami masa yang sulit. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan dukungan sosial untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dukungan sosial karyawan yang mengalami PHK akibat pandemi covid-19. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 206 responden yang terdiri wanita sebanyak 105 responden dan pria sebanyak 101 responden. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik analisa deskriptif. Pengukuran dukungan sosial menggunakan alat ukur yang diadopsi dari Zimet, dkk yang terdiri dari 12 pernyataan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial karyawan yang mengalami PHK akibat pandemi covid-19 mengalami dukungan sosial rendah. The COVID-19 pandemic is a global pandemic announced by the World Health Organization (WHO). Many losses have been caused by this pandemic, one of which is layoffs. Victims affected by layoffs are having a hard time. Therefore, social support is needed to overcome these problems. This study aims to describe the social support of employees who have been laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The sample in this study were 206 respondents consisting of 105 women and 101 men. The research method used is quantitative with descriptive analysis techniques. The measurement of social support uses a measuring tool adopted from Zimet et al, which consists of 12 statements. The results showed that the social support of employees who had been laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic experienced low social support.
