Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa booklet digital mengenai pendidikan karakter berfokus pada nilai religius, sopan santun dan cinta damai sebagai bahan bacaan yang dapat memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan bagi remaja mengenai pendidikan karakter, serta untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas booklet digital sebagai media belajar mandiri bagi remaja. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ahli media, ahli materi dan 30 orang pengguna yaitu remaja di RT. 04 Wilayah Kebon Singkong, Jalan Pertanian Utara dengan rentang usia 11 – 17 tahun yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok berdasarkan fase remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall yang telah disederhanakan oleh Tim Puslitjaknov. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2020 – Juni 2021. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan angket berbentuk skala likert. Booklet digital dirancang menggunakan aplikasi Canva dan Flip PDF Professional. Hasil evaluasi formatif menunjukkan media booklet digital pendidikan karakter berfokus pada nilai religius, sopan santun dan cinta damai ini layak digunakan berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli media diperoleh persentase 93% (Sangat Baik), ahli materi diperoleh persentase 92% (Sangat Baik), Penilaian pengguna pada uji coba lapangan skala kecil diperoleh persentase 97% (Sangat Baik), dan uji coba lapangan skala besar diperoleh persentase 92% (Sangat Baik). Hasil perolehan skor pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada aspek kognitif pengguna. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa booklet digital pendidikan karakter berfokus pada nilai religius, sopan santun dan cinta damai memiliki kualitas yang layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media belajar mandiri bagi remaja. This study uses research and development (R&D) methods with the Borg and Gall development model which has been simplified by the Puslitjaknov Team. This research was conducted from October 2020 – June 2021. Data analysis was carried out using a Likert scale questionnaire. The digital booklet was designed using the Canva and Flip PDF Professional apps. The results of the formative evaluation show that the digital booklet media for character education that focuses on religious values, manners, and love of peace is feasible to use based on the assessment by media experts, the percentage is 93% (Very Good), material experts are 92% (Very Good), user ratings are at 93% (Very Good). Small-scale field trials obtained a percentage of 97% (Very Good), and large-scale field trials obtained a percentage of 92% (Very Good). The results of the pre-test and post-test scores showed an increase in the cognitive aspects of users. So it can be concluded that the digital booklet of character education that focuses on religious values, manners, and love of peace has appropriate qualities and is effectively used as a medium for independent learning for adolescents.
