Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh intensitas pengasuhan, motivasi berprestasi dan regulasi diri terhadap prestasi akademik di Provinsi Jawa barat. studi kausal dengan tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dan analisis data menggunakan metode analisis jalur (path analisisys), dengan sampel orangtua wali murid kelas 2 sekolah dasar provinsi Jawa Barat. random sampling sebanyak 270 orang tua murid dari siswa kelas 2 SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) ada pengaruh langsung positif intensitas pendampingan orangtua terhadap prestasi akademik, (2) ada pengaruh langsung positif motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi akademik, (3) ada pengaruh langsung positif regulasi diri terhadap prestasi akademik, (4) ada pengaruh langsung positif intensitas pendampingan orangtua terhadap regulasi diri, (5) ada pengaruh langsung positif motivasi berprestasi terhadap regulasi diri, (6) ada pengaruh langsung positif intensitas pendampingan orangtua terhadap motivasi berprestasi, (7) ada pengaruh langsung positif intensitas pendampingan orangtua terhadap prestasi akademik melalui regulasi diri, (8) ada pengaruh langsung positif motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi akademik melalui regulasi diri. ********* Abstract This study aims to examine the effect of parenting intensity, achievement motivation and self-regulation on academic achievement in West Java Province. causal study with data collection techniques using questionnaires, and data analysis using path analysis methods, with a sample of parents and guardians of grade 2 elementary schools in West Java province. random sampling of 270 parents of students in grade 2 elementary school. The results showed (1) there was a direct positive effect of the intensity of parental assistance on academic achievement, (2) there was a direct positive effect of achievement motivation on academic achievement, (3) there was a direct positive effect of self-regulation on academic achievement, (4) there was a direct positive effect the intensity of parental assistance on self-regulation, (5) there is a direct positive effect of achievement motivation on self-regulation, (6) there is a direct positive influence of the intensity of parental assistance on achievement motivation, (7) there is a direct positive influence of the intensity of parental assistance on academic achievement through self-regulation , (8) there is a direct positive effect of achievement motivation on academic achievement through self-regulation.
