Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pemanfaatan perpustakaan dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMK Sejahtera Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan sejak bulan Februari 2017 sampai dengan bulan Mei 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMK Sejahtera Jakarta dengan populasi terjangkaunya siswa kelas X Jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran, Akuntansi, dan Multimedia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik acak proporsional, dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 172 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik survey dan pemberian kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah uji persyaratan analisis yang terdiri atas uji normalitas dan uji linearitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linear berganda, uji hipotesis yang terdiri dari uji F dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui terdapat pengaruh antara pemanfaatan perpustakaan dan hasil belajar dimana nilai tRhitungR sebesar 3.369 > nilai tRtabel R 1.653. Kemudian diketahui terdapat pengaruh antara komunikasi interpersonal dan hasil belajar dimana dari hasil tRhitungR sebesar 6.984 > nilai tRtabel R 1.653. Pemanfaatan perpustakaan dan komunikasi interpersonal secara bersamaan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, hal ini terlihat dari hasil data yang menunjukan nilai FRhitung Rsebesar 46.183 > nilai FRtabel Rsebesar 3.05. Dengan persamaan regresi yang didapatkan adalah Ŷ = 31.190 + 190XR1R + 0.249XR2. RBerdasarkan uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai RP2P 0.353 yang artinya pemanfaatan perpustakaan (X1) dan komunikasi interpersonal (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar (Y) sebesar 35.3%. Sehingga terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pemanfaatan perpustakaan dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap hasil belajar. Indikator terendah pemanfaatan perpustakaan adalah intensitas dan untuk indikator terendah komunikasi interpersonal adalah rendahnya rasa empati guru terhadap siswa. Sehingga seharusnya pihak sekolah dapat meningkatakan aktifitas siswa di perpustakaan dan juga meningkatkan rasa empati guru terhadap siswa baik di kelas baik seperti dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas maupun kegiatan yang dilakukan di diluar kelas. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of library utilization and interpersonal communication to student learning outcomes SMK Sejahtera Jakarta. This research was conducted since February 2017 until May 2017. This research used survey method with quantitative approach. The population in this study is all students of SMK Sejahtera Jakarta with the inaccessible population of X class students Department of Administration Office, Accounting, and Multimedia. The sampling technique was using proportional random technique, with the number of research samples were 172 respondents. Data collection techniques used survey techniques and questionnaires. Data analysis technique performed is test requirement analysis consisted of test of normality and test of linearity, test of classical assumption, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis test consist of F test and t test. Based on the results of the analysis known that there is influence between the use of libraries and learning outcomes where the value of tRcountR of 3.369> value tRtableR 1.653. Then it is known there is influence between interpersonal communication and learning outcomes where from the tcRcountR of 6.984> value tRtableR 1.653. The use of libraries and interpersonal communication simultaneously affect the learning outcomes, it can be seen from the results of data showing FRcountR value of 46.183> FRtableR value of 3.05. The regression equation obtained is Ŷ = 31.190 + 190X1 + 0.249X2. Based on the determination coefficient test obtained value R2 0.353 which means the utilization of library (X1) and interpersonal communication (X2) have a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes (Y) of 35.3%. So there is a positive and significant influence between library utilization and interpersonal communication on learning outcomes. The lowest indicator of library utilization is the intensity and for the lowest indicator of interpersonal communication is the low sense of empathy of the teacher to the students. So that the school should be able to increase student activity in the library and also improve the empathy of the teacher to the students both in class both in the process of learning in class and activity Which is done outside the classroom.
