Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat model latihan groundstroke berbasis game situation untuk atlet tenis lapangan pada usia 12-14 tahun. Dengan tujuan penelitian untuk membuat model dan meningkatkan kemampuan pukulan groundstroke, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan groundstroke forehand dan groundstroke backhand atlet tenis lapangan usia 12-14 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dari Borg and Gall. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lapangan Villa Citra Kota Bandar Lampung, Lampung dengan waktu penelitian pada tanggal 31 Juli 2021 sampai dengan 31 September 2021. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 15 atlet tenis lapangan pada ujicoba kecil dan 30 atlet tenis lapangan pada uji coba besar dengan menerapkan 16 model latihan groundstroke berbasis game situation. Variabel penelitian meliputi keterampilan groundstroke tenis lapangan yaitu groundstroke forehand dan groundstroke backhand. Teknik analisis data forehand groundstroke dan backhand groundstroke menggunakan Hewitt test. Berdasarkan hasil uji efektivitas pada 20 subjek penelitian diperoleh rerata hasil test awal groundstroke forehand yaitu 31,73 dan standar deviasi 3,41. Rerata hasil tes akhir 40 dan standar deviasi 3,74 maka terjadi peningkatan groundstroke forehand tenis lapangan. Rerata hasil test awal groundstroke backhand yaitu 28,267 dan standar deviasi 3,08. Rerata hasil tes akhir 34,33 dan standar deviasi 3,22 maka terjadi peningkatan groundstroke backhand tenis lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas model latihan groundstroke berbasis game situation untuk atlet tenis lapangan pada usia 12-14 tahun dapat diterapkan dan juga model latihan groundstroke berbasis game situation efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan groundstroke. ********* This study aims to create a game situation based groundstroke training model for tennis athletes at the age of 12-14 years. The aim of this research is to create a model and improve the ability of groundstrokes, especially those related to forehand groundstrokes and backhand groundstrokes for tennis athletes aged 12-14 years. This study uses research and development (R&D) methods from Borg and Gall. This research was carried out at Villa Citra Field, Bandar Lampung City, Lampung with a research time of July 31, 2021 to September 31, 2021. The research subjects were 15 tennis athletes in the small trial and 30 tennis athletes in the large trial by applying 16 training models. Groundstroke based situation game. Research variables include tennis groundstroke skills, namely groundstroke forehand and groundstroke backhand. Data analysis technique forehand groundstroke and backhand groundstroke using Hewitt test. Results Based on the effectiveness test on 20 research subjects, the average forehand groundstroke initial test results were 31.73 and the standard deviation was 3.41. The average final test result is 40 and the standard deviation is 3.74, so there is an increase in the tennis forehand groundstroke. The average result of the initial groundstroke backhand test is 28.267 and the standard deviation is 3.08. The average final test result is 34.33 and the standard deviation is 3.22, so there is an increase in the tennis backhand groundstroke. Based on the above research, the game situation based groundstroke training model for field athletes at the age of 12-14 years can be applied and the game situation based groundstroke training model is effective to improve groundstroke ability.
