Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) proses/prosedur penyusunan modul, (2) kelayakan modul, (3) efektivitas penggunaan modul yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis artikel jurnal nasional bagi mahasiswa PGMI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R & D dengan mengadopsi model pengembangan dari Derek Rowntree. Berdasarkan teori tersebut, pengembangan modul ini memiliki tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap akhir. Validasi modul dilakukan melalui expert judgement. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 mahasiswa semester III yang mengikuti mata kuliah Komposisi Bahasa tahun Akademik 2019/2020. Uji coba modul dilakukan melalui uji face to face, pre test dan post test. Data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tahapan proses/prosedur penyusunan modul telah menghasilkan modul penulisan artikel jurnal berisi kegiatan belajar 1 dengan materi Topik dan kegiatan belajar 2 dengan materi LATANSA (Literature Research, Abstract, Thesis, All Reference, Need a template, Submit, Announcement). (2) Berdasarkan uji validitas, respon mahasiswa dan hasil wawancara dengan dosen pengampu, diketahui bahwa modul ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis artikel (nilai pada aspek bahasa 3,50, pada aspek materi 3,44 dan pada aspek desain 3,50). Artinya modul ini sangat baik (3) berdasarkan perbandingan hasil uji pre test dan posttest diketahui bahwa modul ini efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis artikel dengan nilai pre test 53,87 dan post test 81,40. Kesimpulannya, modul penulisan artikel jurnal nasional bagi mahasiswa PGMI layak dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kontribusi dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan modul yang dapat menjadi panduan dalam pembelajaran menulis artikel jurnal. Keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah sampel yang terbatas dan instrument expert judgement hanya menggunakan instrument pengembangan modul yang sudah ada. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya adalah apakah modul ini efektif digunakan dalam workshop penulisan artikel jurnal bagi guru-guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This study aims to determine (1) the process/procedure of module preparation, (2) the feasibility of the module, (3) the effectiveness of using modules that can improve the skills of writing national journal articles for PGMI students. This research is an R & D research by adopting the development model of Derek Rowntree. Based on this theory, the development of this module has three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the final stage. Module validation is done through expert judgment. The sample of this study was 30 third semester students who took the Language Composition course for the Academic year 2019/2020. The module testing was carried out through face to face, pre-test and post-test tests. The research data shows that (1) the stages of the module preparation process/procedure have resulted in a journal article writing module containing learning activities 1 with topic material and learning activities 2 with LATANSA material (Literature Research, Abstract, Thesis, All Reference, Need a template, Submit, announcement). (2) Based on the validity test, student responses and the results of interviews with lecturers, it is known that this module is suitable for use in learning to write articles (the score on the language aspect is 3.50, the material aspect is 3.44 and the design aspect is 3.50). This means that this module is very good (3) based on the comparison of the results of the pre-test and post-test, it is known that this module is effectively used in learning to write articles with a pre-test score of 53.87 and a post-test score of 81.40. In conclusion, the module for writing national journal articles for PGMI students is feasible and effective to use in learning. The contribution of this research is to produce a module that can be a guide in learning to write journal articles. The limitations of this research are the limited number of samples and the expert judgment instrument only uses the existing module development instrument. The recommendation for future researchers is whether this module is effectively used in journal article writing workshops for Ibtidaiyah madrasa teachers.
